I havent seen a build that specializes in both ranged and melee due to the point cost being so high....but generally, you will want to get a build with a defensive or two (like BH Shields, Assassin Avoid Damage, etc). I generally like to have extra healing on top of just the basic, so I usually spec far enough in doctor to get ampule and area heal.

Last I have seen the going rate. Some folks have been using them as trade for the excavation tool chests (devastation mod) which seems to be extremely rare.

A lot of BE is a carry over from PreCu code and not applicable to Evolve's NGE base. I'm sure at some point it will get a sweep to bring an evolved update to it.

I think the Hanger has the highest ceiling for the taller creatures or the flying ones

The only problem with your stun change is, stun is the only thing that works in a chance at hitting damage on a big defense builds. I have to land a pistol whip to even get a chance at putting on some chunk damage to a build that is usually "untouchable". Without a stun, my Last Ditch may miss or only hit for 1k damage. I'd be open to an alternative or compromise.

You may need to add more heals and defensives like avoid damage and void dance (or walk, I always forget the name).

I change suits around from time to time, but I was probably wearing a str/BV/luck with offensive exotics most likely weapon damage/unarmed damage/assassinate damage. I'm also a fan of heal potency so I may change assassinate dmg for HP.

BM is more powerful. CH is still a work-in-progress.

Well you have come to the right place. We have strong melee builds here, some of our best pve and pvp players play a melee build. Here is an example of a BM Melee build type. I would suggest the Steel Body jewelry set to help make you nice and tanky.

What if, instead of BH'ing, we could get a kill collection for killing so many other jedi, we can get a good FRS payout? It would keep the essence/spirit of light vs dark, but would give jedi players a chance to earn good FRS outside of big pvp and would allow players to pvp with other toons aside from their jedi yet keep the spirit of earning FRS for weekly decay and ranking intact.
