Allow the Gunship Mass to be increased to 3.5 or even 5 mil. Thank you for your suggestion! This is definitely something development can take a look at. Preliminaryly, though, the gunship mass restriction is designed to encourage players to carefully balance their components choosing between high protection, hard-hitting weapons, or a balanced mix of both. This limitation helps maintain meaningful build diversity and ensures each ship configuration feels unique. Orton Evolve Community Manager

[Unavailable historical attachment #1484] That’s a great idea thank you for sharing it! A holo of the Mos Eisley Cantina Band would make for an awesome piece of entertainer-themed décor. Development will definitely take a look at this to see what might be possible. That said, items like this can be fairly resource-intensive to create, and since our development team is entirely volunteer-based, we have to be mindful of what we can take on at a given time. Still, ideas like yours help inspire new additions to the game, so please keep them coming! Orton Evolve Community Manager Historical reactions: Like × 1

The entertainer system is definitely an area that could benefit from some modernization and quality-of-life improvements, and these ideas line up perfectly with that goal. Development will take a closer look at how we might expand entertainer functionality including Trade tab support for additional professions like BE, RE, and Shipwright, as well as exploring updates to player entertainer buffing to make it more rewarding and convenient. Improving player engagement and giving more value to active entertainers is something we’re always interested in, and feedback like this really helps guide future updates. When doing the city invasions there are times where NPC's that are not close by are still in combat with you. They may have caught a glimpse of you 1k away and got stuck on a building. With latency, it takes a sec to register that you're still in combat. By the time you make it back to the quest giver, you have to turn around and "find" the NPC, which puts other NPC's in combat with you on the way back to the initial one that stayed in combat with you. So for your quest to kill 10 NPC's, actually you have killed 20+ just trying to get back to the quest giver, who might be surrounded by enemy NPC's by the time you get back to them. Not so bad at the start of the invasion, but towards the end it can be a bit unerving. Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback! Development will take a look at this to see if the city invasion quests specifically can be adjusted to allow repeatable missions to be turned in while still in combat. This would definitely be a great quality-of-life improvement for city invasions, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Keep the great suggestions coming! Orton Evolve Community Manager

This allows us to more easily empty our inventory of unwanted loot. People will still likely save the more valuable loot until daily limit resets, but for low value loot like eyes and brains and antennae and loot kit items like gong and rugs will still allow selling this loot to make better inventory management. That’s an interesting suggestion and I can definitely see the value in making inventory management smoother, especially when it comes to low value loot that tends to pile up. Development resources are in very high demand, and we do have a well defined roadmap for the near future, but ideas like this are always appreciated and will be kept in consideration when we review QoL improvements. So if you kill 10 bounties worth 100k each you might win the total kill board, but someone who kills 2 worth 1m each would rank higher than you on the credits board. That’s a great idea! A credits earned leaderboard would add another fun layer of competition and reward different playstyles. Just a thought, thanks for all the hard work you do! Bleep/bloop/Burningsage That’s a great idea, thanks for suggesting it! We’ve been looking for more ways to connect in-game with community events, and tying the NewsNet terminals into the weekly schedule would be a perfect fit. We might even be able to incorporate the Google Calendar directly into the system using the game’s built-in web browser, so players could see the live schedule without needing to leave the game. I’m not sure what all the programming challenges or limitations might be with something like this, but I’ll definitely pass it along to our development team to see what’s possible! I’d like to suggest adding a special Deep Space Station where players can pick up Hard Mode Duty Missions. These missions would pull from the same factions available through standard duty missions (Rebel, Imperial, Black Sun, Droid, Hidden Dagger) and scale through tiers 1–5. They would function exactly like the current duty missions, but with two important differences: Space Multiplier: The missions would apply a credit/XP multiplier to reflect the higher difficulty. Increased Spawns: NPC spawns would be tripled (3x) compared to standard duty missions, creating a more challenging and target-rich environment. This feature would: Provide gunboat and gunship crews with much-needed high-density content to take full advantage of multi-crew firepower. Add something fresh to space gameplay, which hasn’t had much new content in a while. Offer both groups and solo players (with larger ships) a new challenge without replacing or devaluing existing duty missions. Historical reactions: Like × 2

Overview This proposal outlines the addition of Leaderboards, allowing players to compete for the fastest completion times across existing and future instances. The goal is to provide players with long-term goals, replay value, and community recognition through both competitive and cooperative gameplay. Concept • Leaderboards would track the fastest completion times of instances such as Exar Kun, with rankings posted on the SWG Evolve website. • Leaderboards would be divided into multiple categories to ensure fair comparisons between different styles of play: o Solo Player o 2-Player Team o 8-Player Team Scoring System • Primary Metric: Completion time of the instance. • Verification: To begin, completion times could be tracked and submitted manually (e.g., via logs or screenshots), then posted by staff. • Automation (Future Development): As resources allow, an automated system can be integrated to pull completion data directly from the game and update leaderboards in real time. Implementation Roadmap Phase 1 (Manual Updates): o Players submit proof of completion times. o Development team verifies and updates the leaderboard on the SWG Evolve website. o Ensures immediate availability with low development cost. Phase 2 (Semi-Automation): o In-game logging tools capture completion times and format data for staff to review. o Streamlines verification and reduces manual effort. Phase 3 (Full Automation): o Completion times automatically logged and pushed to the leaderboard system. o Players see live-updated rankings on the website. Benefits • Encourages replayability of instances by fostering competition. • Provides recognition to high-performing players and groups. • Strengthens community engagement through friendly rivalry. • Offers a scalable system that can expand as new content and tracking metrics are introduced. Future Expansion • Additional categories and challenges (e.g., “Ironman” runs, faction-specific runs). • Seasonal resets of leaderboards to keep competition fresh. • Integration with player profiles on the website for achievement tracking.

To make it easier for us to get programmed chips to sell on vendors I would like to get the option to program a whole crate of chips before taking them out. This would save time on programming the chips, and make it easier to transfer the chips from our pilots to our trader. I know it’s possible because other servers have the option. Thanks. Great idea! Being able to program a full crate of chips at once would definitely help streamline the process and make things much easier for both pilots and traders. It’s absolutely something worth development taking a look at, especially since it would improve quality of life without changing balance. We really appreciate suggestions like this keep them coming! Ceena, post: 3467, member: 2376 wrote: Since we have all walks of life and schedules on the server, i suggest when we do double token events, that they are awarded as 1 use buff items. These would grant the double token buff to a player for the same amount of time that the event would normally run, and be usable for up to 30 days before expiring and no longer being able to be used. It may even spread out player activity, as certain groups can choose a period of time to use theirs at once and create multiple groups running back to back instances across that 30 day time period, allowing others who don't have the buff to still join in on the runs. That’s a fantastic suggestion! Making double token events into one use buff items is a really creative way to give everyone no matter their schedule a fair chance to participate. It could also help spread out activity, just like you mentioned, which is a huge plus for keeping runs going strong. Definitely something worth the development team taking a closer look at. Thanks for bringing this up! Numerous suggestions have been made about updates to the Chef profession, and a lot of those ideas have inspired the development team to consider a significant update. It’s one of the most popular and requested improvements from the community. For anyone interested, here’s the link to the suggestion Tdeadly referenced: https://www.swgevolve.com/index.php?threads/1202/ While we’d all love to see these changes implemented as quickly as possible, development resources are always in high demand, and balancing updates, new content, and events can be challenging. The team is working hard through the current roadmap, and we need to be patient with our volunteer developers as they move through their priorities. Exciting things are on the horizon, and hopefully this update will make its way onto the release list soon. Orton Evolve Community Manager Historical reactions: Like × 1
