Sadly there isn't a ton of tools to mod the UI, and its pretty much a glorified text editor. I too would like to see something where we could evolve the UI a bit, but would definitely need more hands on deck to get that accomplished in a timely manner. There are some mods out there already that increase font size and such, (google vanilla nosquint mod), but that would be unsupported by us if issues arose with it. Thanks that's to be expected. I'll look nosquint up. One option for funding mod work and support is crowd funding and if advertised across all 5 version of SWG a tool adaptation may reach quorum. I'm someone who studied crowd funding. If advertised to googles nosquint team we get a bigger base. I suspect you have all heard of SW battlefront Classic Edition and its huge remaster. That will lead to a remaster of SWG if successful and its topping preorders on steam but its 50 gig! That has the same menu issue. SW Battlefront and SWG share some meshes and textures.

For this event, we will use the free-for-all PvP TEF to form groups. You can pick any number of groups and group sizes, such as 20 vs 20, 10 vs 10, or 5 vs 5 vs 5,(or whatever number we need) etc. Each group will have a bounty hunter and a leader. The bounty hunters will take out bounties on the enemy group leaders. The goal is to take out the leader with the bounty. The group members can keep cloning, but once the leader is taken out, the group disbands and starts attacking everyone. The PvP continues until the last leader is standing. This can be done in bigger NPC cities if you want, so the leaders can choose to hide or hit and run, etc. Also, besides the leaders, maybe we can make selecting group members random, so we don't get the 20 or 10 best PvPers, etc., in one group. Some rules - If you have any that you think should be added, please say: The leader can't leave the city once the PvP starts (so if it's in Theed, he can't leave Theed, etc.). No going to areas restricted by others. BHs, if killed by the leader, can retake the leader's bounty if they are able. If the leader is killed, the group disbands and it becomes a free-for-all for those players - this only works if we have three groups or more. Using pets and PvP traps are allowed. -random group besides the leaders to keep the top pvpers all grouping in one elite group If the CSRs want to make things a little more chaotic, they can spawn mid-level NPCs that attack all players. If faction NPCs, players must be Combatant (not SF, because the groups will be mixed faction, so we don't want people attacking their group members). Anyway, I started thinking of this idea after the base busting event turned into a free-for-all. I wanted an event that rebels and imps could be grouped together and it just not being a pure free-for-all, but a group event. I hope people like the idea.

Although all that being said, the chance to reset should not roll off a maelstrom if it’s not going to reset maelstrom. That just forces a reset on shockwave and lightning before they are even on cooldown.

Waiting on other players to be blessed by the RNG, regardless of whether in an instance or open world, for crafting components is an unnecessary time sink that makes crafting less enjoyable. A simple solution to this would be to have Watto sell No-Trade versions of crafting components, like weapon augments or weapon enhancements, with a limit on the number of transactions a player can conduct with Watto in a specified time interval. Watto could also be used to sell all sorts of things to players on a limited basis to serve as a credit sink to help drain credits from the economy. Regardless of other gates on income, determined players will accumulate wealth so credit, making voluntary credit sinks important to the economic health of the server. Alternatively, the Trader Token vendor could be given the task of selling such components.

POB ship loot container can be accessed by any player inside a ship with admin permissions, you can designate loot manager role to one of them so a pilot and the gunners can do their work uninterrupted - this is intended way of doing things out there. In case of cargo hold right now - the option to unload it is limited to the ground and is a radial menu option for a ship control device in a datapad, we may have some way to unload it while in space at some point, not sure how/when, but its a thing that would be useful. Oh, I know it can be accessed by anyone with permission. I'm just suggesting a loot all option, instead of having to loot all 75 items individually. As the server population grows, more players may choose to participate in GCW Invasions. With a little determination, it actually doesn't take too many characters to get a complete build for the attack. This can present problems on the server, especially with Keren and Dearic. Full builds attacking builds and half of a defensive build can reduce framerates to a slideshow. One fix from Live that is not present on Evolve was to despawn most of the MOBs and and every lair within the Invasion zone, especially those NPCs that cannot be attacked. I would recommend that this adjustment be investigated to prevent a problem before it happens. It would make the GCW Invasion cities less cluttered with things that have nothing to do with the invasion and keep framerates running smoothly.

I think if you are outside of a PVP zone, fights between non-NPCs should only be 1 on 1. Having 3 players attack one player is not fair no matter what rank you are. Jedi is not an elite class like on other servers. It doesn't require several people to kill Jedi. For instance, last night I had to stop playing the game entirely, because I was repeatedly attacked by the same group of people. I only have 1 character that I play content with. I don't have time to max out others. I cant play the game if I am being attacked by mobs of other players. I don't have an issue with 1 on 1. Thats fair, but I don't really think that, outside of a pvp zone, people should be able to gang up on 1 Jedi. Jedi is not an elite class by any means necessary. Is it stronger than base NGE? Absolutely, but so is everything else. Whilst getting to rank 6 may help you live longer against opponents in a 1v1 situation it will not carry you in a fight against more than 1 competent PvPer as much as people would like to think it does. People seem to forget that a good LSJ is unkillable by any other class 1vX in PvP in base NGE with its direct counter being DSJ. Now you add dark side to that and it’s a little bit easier, however we do not have the defensives that every other non-Jedi is capable of having here. It seems people think that by running up to a Jedi and standing in its abilities ranges and getting stomped out makes it an alpha easy mode class. A truly built pvp machine can go toe to toe with a Jedi 1v1 and neither will die and with proper LOS and utilization of abilities can eventually even possibly kill the Jedi, that doesn’t sound very elite on a class that is specifically designed to win the 1v1 as a duelist. As for the other issue, getting ganked is apart of the PvP scene and will remain that way until the end of time. The suggestions above are a great start to avoiding people for PvP although my question to you would be, why enroll in a perma PvP system to not take part in it’s wonders? I find being always on the alert and not knowing when you’ll get ganked to be quite fun which is why I sit Perma SF on all toons I have.

Well, fading cosmetics are one thing, but fading boosts is something that would be worth using. No disrespect for other servers who implemented them, but I don't like the idea of permanent buffs. Historical reactions: Like × 1

I think these should be in a trader vendor for trader tokens instead, because, well, we have trader vendor and the most frequent users for this kind items will be traders. I like this idea too, some traders want to make heavy variant ships to begin their piloting more comfy to start space mining later on, without the need to do piloting first and questing to get mining equipment.

My suggestion is for some new pets! Things like the Malfosa, Tusken Massif, Painted Spat, Kahmurra Blanca, and Spiketail Blurg are all already modeled in game, so instituting them would not be nearly as hard as new creatures and would add another unique experience here!

Ishna, post: 571, member: 662 wrote: Recourse being on the target is nice, however the duration is still something of concern. The cut% was reduced, and they can only apply it every 30 seconds, put's it far behind in terms of effectiveness of non-jedi. For example running Bacta Corruption and Dread Strike way outpaces you in terms of heal cut effectiveness. You didn't address why the recourse is also linked to damage reduction. Hoping for some clarification on if there are plans to specifically add recourse to just the heal cut, or if it shipped as intended. While FRS decay being higher per rank is understandable to a certain extent to match the GCW system, GCW is far easier to get than FRS. What if a system was introduced to purchase FRS scrolls with FRS tokens? I know me personally, I probably have close to 400 tokens on my Jedi and have no intent on purchasing things from the vendor, I love playing on my TKM compared to my Jedi but aim to still keep my Jedi at max rank. It's like that on the GCW side, so is there plans to add a similar system to the FRS side? I understand that losing ranks is natural and not everyone is going to maintain Rank 6, but it should still be achievable while not having to main it for those who aren't trying to full-time Jedi PvP. While I do agree closing gaps of exploits is absolutely neccesary, some feel as if the system is being overcorrected and those that are left are left with an uphill battle to maintain Jedi ranks and FRS tokens. Tokens have already been taken away for almost 2 weeks outside of event rewards, FRS rewards per kill is now more difficult with timer and the overall availability of World PvP outside of events. Its a butterfly effect that is weakening the Jedi system overall. A certain rollback to normal wouldn't hurt now that Staff are way more informed in ways that the system was exploited. Well said...I agree with this, a change was needed and I'm all for a recourse timer, but this may be an overcorrection. I worry a bit about my damage being out healed. For instance, a build with medic will have multiple heals on a cooldown that is shorter than the recourse timer, so they have the ability to get multiple heals off before a jedi could do a heal cut. In addition, if the build has cleanse, it will pretty much eliminate the heal cut all together since the special will be off cooldown long before the recourse timer is up which will also save that toon a whole lot of action since they will not have to spam the cleanse ability enabling them to fire off more heals/debuffs/dps specials. As far as FRS, I agree with decay...my issue is opportunities to gain it. I have no problem having to earn the points, but outside of pvp events, it's been hard to get it. Anyone that plays with me knows that I run around flagged on most of my toons and I rarely run into a situation for open world pvp during the late evening times est. When I do, it is usually against greater numbers (not complaining about numbers because it's nobody's fault they have more) so therefore I am only feeding people FRS without gaining any for myself. Before yesterday's update, I only gained about 2k for the whole week (since I left the jedi home during the pit fights) and I am on pretty much every evening making rounds. I did have a random player attack my jedi tef in eisley and I killed him the other night, but I didnt get any FRS because he happened to be the same faction as me...heck, it's been weeks since a BH has even come after my bounty. I have faith that we can get open world pvp happening if we steer the course, but it's not there yet. If I just repeated what others said, I apologize, I get a little lazy on my reading skills. You can run out of the AOE damage of SL's grenades/jesus beam. I do it all the time on regular NGE servers. Would not be opposed to this change.

It would be hardly a bump. I see what you're saying. The thing is, you don't always want capped hydros. A slight increase in raw hydros is helpful, especially if you're looking for 8s. Also, this bonus applies to mutations as well. Cap is 32, I believe. But if you dont think we need this small bonus, I understand. No, I'm saying we all save/use 11s. 9s and 10s are used for mounts. The rest are trash. 12 point layse have never been a thing in swg history as far as I know. This could be game breaking. It would need testing, if it is even possible.

My proposal here is three part... ***Reason PvE is not a concern here. PvE is entirely scalable with Hardmodes, guaranteed hit damage (like EK), and mechanical challenges. Having more spread and specialization is not a bad thing imho. The Reasoning - In PvP, defense is king, if you aren't alive, you cannot do damage. Proper builds can quickly get VERY high single target mitigation (Non AOE attacks, affected by dodge/parry) This in itself is not the problem, and promotes very interesting builds. The Problem - The downside of this is offensive builds are pushed to the wayside, and heavy weapons become the only viable weapons becuase they can only be mitigated by evasion or block, rendering dodge and parry useless against them outside of specials (bar smuggler cheese proc). The Fix - Add defense counters to fully offensive jewelry. This will allow builds to more reliably hit specials, and increase build diversity, while not breaking anything. Builds utilizing these set ups will still be extremely squishy. Give and take. Examples to follow. ***Example from Legends - LS duelist set getting a -75% parry reduction on the target. (basically counters the saber block ability, and nullifies parry when it is not up.) Examples of my own creation Make the flawless set have a -45% dodge reduction on the target. (along side the guaranteed hit.) Assassin's set to receive -20% dodge and -20% parry reduction on the target. Different suggestion entirely, but it may be worth considering giving pets a -20% dodge reduction on the target or w/e too! Historical reactions: Like × 1
