I know there is probably a plan for the riposte chance in shii cho and the battlemaster boxes, but for now people can simply use a different form or not take those boxes.
I suggest this change to the jewelry because it's otherwise good and functional now for the most part, just a bit of a wasted stat on the jewelry.
