Hang on.... Since when is the BH system PvP? It's about a person taking up a contract on another person; in essence a duel where the hunter gets payed if the mark is defeated. In PvP, it's one faction against another; in this game empire against rebel alliance. This would mean that, unlike the original BH system, all other faction members able able to attach the hunter as well, as well as all faction members of the hunter are able to defeat the mark (and thus leaving the hunter without getting paid). It kind of defeats the entire point of the BH system, doesn't it?
Having said that; I think that a good bounth hunter is never going to pick a side. Afterall, a contract is a contract, no matter who puts it out; the empire, the alliance or whatever criminal organization out there.
I kind of make me wonder if the entire discussion about PvP and rank priviledges is relevant to begin with in regards to the BH system.
FYI: I'm one of those players that will hardly ever engage in PvP planetside. In space, that will be different story. 🙂

I can see where the confusion came in here, BH and PvP are two swperate systems, yes. However, what I am suggesting is using the BH toggle option, to allow players to be able to hunt you as a bh regardless of moral or factional choices, as well as toggling permaflagging/factional kills before receiving a bounty are applied..... ie. With it off you are safe from having bounties applied, and can grind GCW as you see fit with no real repercussions as you can now. For those with a PvP itch however, toggling it on allows players to place a bounty on you at any time, while also permaflagging players as SF once certain GCW ranks are reached, in this state killing so many GCW npc's will flag the player as SF, if such a rank to be automatically flagged has not been reached, with the possibility of a bounty being automatically being placed on your head as well for killing x amount of GCW targets.

Why do you do this? You can literally do everything in the game yourself at this point. Just takes the spirit of SWG and throws it out the window. I'm sure you're not the only one that plays this way either, less player interaction is not what we want.

You clearly don't experience SWG the way that we play it... just because we can doesn't mean we do.... Cyco is online in Discord every night, we run events or heroics AT LEAST every other night. I have built more weapons for him on my crafter than anyone else in the guild...... certainly more than he has himself..... speaking about a culture you aren't privy to and trying to "slash the tires" do nothing to further the discussion we are trying to have to better the game or the community it is built upon. You are correct on only one thing "less player interaction is not what we want" that includes attempting to maliciously attack people for the way they play because it doesn't align with your "ideals" which could be said for a growing number of people here already sadly. Just because it isn't the way you play doesn't mean it is wrong... and that goes for everybody. But this is not a channel to chastise, complain, or cry about how people play the game, it's an adult discussion for ways to improve it. So I encourage people to remember to check whatever baggage you have at the door and leave it there....

Drama and infighting is exactly what drove me away from beyond and many from legends.... let's not make the same mistakes on this amazing server Rezec has poured his heart and soul into....

    Do better.

Honestly not sure if it would be possible, but I think it would be awesome to build a system with 6 main toons, with the option of two jedi unlocks, locked to 6 and one jedi on at a time, each with a seperate unlock path, one for LSJ and one for DSJ.

Would give you some diversity while allowing you the choice to only use one unlock if you choose to

I honestly love playing with builds, and don't want to be cut short and respec and try to remember or have to log builds i like, but I feel 6 would be a good balance for us to expirement with.

I don't think the vast majority that are for it are understanding supply and demand of an economy and how flooding markets with such a vast amount of supply with a low population server... it's only going to crash things.

AFKing POIs wouldn't be so bad if there were more competition (i.e. players) competing for spawns/markets, and when we have people admitting to multi-accounting on these spawns, the benefitted amount from such spawns is so ridiculously more than what the game was intended for, it will only have negative downstream effects in keeping the server growing.

A server full of 30-40 people that are ecstatic they got all of the things is not a healthy server.

This cannot and should not be Beyond 2.0.

I think you underestimate the "understanding" of the vast majority of the players... we get it, I would hazard a guess the majority of the population have been through the death and rebirth of SWG for going on decades now... and would guess 99% of players understand basic supply and demand.... yes, flooding markets can be detrimental, but in this specific case it does not directly determine market prices or inflation, or even mean they will be.... it's simple, this server is in the early stage of life, it has to grow and growing fast doesnt mean its going to blow everything out of proportion. There is more than one way to balance this and just saying no takes away alot of chances for some people to stay current, catch up, or help others to be relevant. How many of us have started new servers well into their life to grind away menial tasks just to hope that we could be up to speed relatively quickly. This just gives people a chance to catch up without taking away other time that can be spent doing other things. Those kind of adjustments can be made in other areas, and with other restrictions, that can reign things in if they get out of hand, or start to slip in that direction. GCW should be off limits, help keep people honest and worthwhile to spend the time on, POIs should be limited, no botting excessive toons to farm mobs, set a limit on the number of toons based on mob difficulty and stick to it. Keep it to one area to allow others to move through and continue on/collect the same things. Have an active invite macro to allow someone to join and leave to ensure there is always a place for someone to collect the kills if needed.. maintain the 250k limit on junk dealers, and set a max cap per day (750k-1m for example), to keep multiple account AFK farmers from rolling in excessive amounts of credits.

It also doesn't mean markets will be flooded either.... I have probably millions of resources, have never listed a single item, haven't made a single credit, and have crafted enough weapons for people that I could outfit 6 accounts for life already... just because it could, doesn't mean it will...

Let's face it, many of us have been through too many resets and false starts to want to regrind pre-cu experiences, to suffer for years just hoping things go our way and RNG blesses us with all our needs.... yes, it shouldn't be a day to have Max cap resources for everything, billions of credits, and nothing else to live for. But it shouldn't be a slug paced grind up mount everest either. Things may change, and there may be a time it needs ammended. But killing AFK isn't going to do anything but more than likely kill morale and player base.....

Sorry for the novel... but assuming people don't understand or care is a bad way to try and make a point about something many of us have dealt with, and frankly are tired of dealing with in a game we are all so clearly passionate about..... we brought it back from the grave again and again, because there is value there, just need to polish the diamond, and that takes nothing but time and care

I personally don't see an issue with it, as long as people are respectful and invite, or don't monopolize an entire location.
