  • Make a tailor better
    D DWTerabyte

Tailor has been the red-headed stepchild of all SWG crafting, before the NGE, their thing to make was Armor Padding which only had any real stats to compare ability to integrate BE tissues that provided bleed, dizzy and DoT defense. But beyond that there could be lots of room for improvement, other than making necessary components like Trim that is needed for Casks. Possibly you could open up the enchantments that increase HP/Action to be applied on Leg Slots, Shirt, Jacket, Cloak and other bits, you could extend the same bonus to shoes and gloves but you would only get about 25 to 30% of the value on the enhancement.

Synergy between Tailor and BE could apply again as making First Aid Bandages and Rez Kits, and allowing skill modifiers that will apply to clothing only and can't be applied by any other means such as a powerup or buff from spending into player expertise.

But thank you for bringing it up - I'm all for crafting new types of consumables new items that can breathe some new life into the crafting professions.

You got my vote on it, I think it would help us realize with the weapons we equip, well as all the clickies and buffs we can acquire. Allowing us to work with the current buff bloat.

You probably have at least 1 house on 1 of your characters though right? If you could drop all your tokens in a bag or whatever in that house would that also be a way to solve the problem?

Nope, each toon has to own a house to drop tokens on the floor for other toons to pick up. That's the whole point of suggesting the shared bank in the first place, to prevent all the shuffle of stupid dance.

Theres not too much no trade shared items left (even jewelry is only your freebie first set thats no trade shared), but would be nice for those occasions! Another possibility, if it was similar or less effort might be to allow any character to drop/pickup no trade shared items in any house owned by your account.

A lot of us here have toons that have their harvesters using every single lot or some that want each toon NOT having a house. This in mind was to help tackle and condense your tokens into one location without have to play house hopping. It's an more efficient route as every toon on your account can access a bank terminal. Being able to combine your trader and heroic tokens in one place would be a huge help. Which is why I proposed the max only be 15 slots, you can hold up to three jewelry sets or have an assortment of your tokens stored in a shared bank to allow any of your toons to go to the vendor instead of playing switcheroo toon twister. The only ask to make a suggested change would to mark daily login tokens no trade shared.

I would like to propose the idea of a shared bank system. Between earning tokens and collecting the available No Trade Shared items. The shared bank can only store items with the No Trade Shared tag. The concept is to easily trade jewelry sets and other items between and keep them organized in a location that every toon can access. The max limit on the shared bank would be 15 slots.

A drop after each encounter would probably be nice as well, as I personally liked the way Destiny/Destiny 2 did their raids and dungeons. Set encounters would always reward a drop and currency to where you could get up to 4 or 5 max depending on how long the activity/how many encounters it had. The trade-off was that they had weekly lockouts, but I would rather it stay daily because obviously not every wants to or can run every day anyway, but for those that can, that'd be nice.

This could possible be expanded on a bit further, completing a weekly of completing the OG's / instances, encounters and each weekly finished would grant a reward. Not a new mechanic by any means, but something to look forward to..

After testing it out on the current version of the Test Center, my only suggestion - instead of being able to be an entertainer, I would rather have access to the crafting professions instead. Since you get a resource quality buff from the meditate ability.

I think this got a little off topic but I would like to bring it back. I think this is a great idea, once you have completed 10 of each OG for stat bonus and then obtain your 5 piece there is not a lot of incentive to continue to do these. By adding more token rewards I think would be excellent and give more veteran players reason to continue to run them. I think tcg rewards were always highly sought after such as the newer vehicles, class specific weapons, rare DNA, rare paintings and decor, rare junk loot, unique schematics, etc.

That sounds great. A way to structure it as well, each OG instance has a vendor next to the NPC that is related to that heroic to start, or stick em in Mos Eisley. The vendor from each OG instance will include the items that are only lootable inside that instance. Possibly being able to buy specific junk loot pieces for the rare exotic modifiers. This was a solution implemented in another game, where if you raided and didn't get loot , you earned currency regardless for completing the mission. Each lootable item such as schems or weapons could cost 10 tokens minimum exclusive to that instance.

  • Allow bm pets to get your buffs when you pull them out
    D DWTerabyte

I would be willing to have pets NOT receive any buffs at all , except the serum for xp gain. Instead in place, allow other Master Beast Masters' to trade pets only with other Master Beast Masters', with trained abilities intact. Another option , while including the same disadvantage is to allow Master BM's to train other peoples pets. There would be a cost included, the Master BM's can craft an item to trade with other players to scribe.

The creature book/manual would have these parameters :

    • The book only consists of a single charge, with a probability factor of the player scribing the book to learn the pet ability
    • The manual is crafted, requiring Master Bio-Engineer to craft the DNA Data Disk part of the schem
    • Master Tailor crafts the binding/pages/protective bindings and Master Droid Engineer crafts the Simulation Data Disk ( requires identical Module - Playback )
    • Master Artisan electronic identical components from a crate are required for the Simulation Data Disk ( Advanced Micro Sensor Suite ) - the stat cap is Quality 2.0 And identical components from a crate ( Advanced Control Unit ) - the stat cap is Mechanism Quality 2.0, and both will determine the success rate on the creature manual
    • The final form of the book with a percentage in the examine would include the overall rating/quality on the DND Data Disk, Simulation Data Disk and Master Tailor component
    • The player using the book , upon success will grant the given ability based on two things: the chance to learn the highest tier of that ability and if unsuccessful they learn the next available highest. Each roll on learning that ability will continue until the player either learns the lowest level of that ability , or not at all.

  • Limited use schematics
    D DWTerabyte

The only token bought schematic that this applies to is the complete resource survey tool when it comes to the trader token vendor. It takes space mining resources to make - so getting there to be able to not only buy the schem from the vendor and working your way to mining with space takes quite a bit of time, so there is a good trade off there.

  • Increase Crafting Component factory crate stack cap
    D DWTerabyte

This was buffed in the early version of test about before it went to Live. The usual 25 was bumped up to 100. I don't remember the conversation with Rezec, but I know for a fact it's not friendly to try and copy what Sentinel's Republic did with their factory crate size. That's a whole different monster.

  • Allow bm pets to get your buffs when you pull them out
    D DWTerabyte

You can currently buff your pet with medic buffs/officer buffs and others that apply to your group. But the problem is when your pet gets stored, it loses all those buffs when you call them again. And the buffs should last until the pet is killed in combat. If there is a balance issue in terms of doing so, there could be a penalty to the loyalty loss that occurs when the pet dies, make it double or triple the usual amount, so that it has to be earned back.

  • Limited use schematics
    D DWTerabyte

There are plenty of looted limited use schematics that only have so many uses. Trying to get rid of the very small handful of permanent provides no benefit or creates a chase. I would encourage to make some of the quested schems, like the Scythe weapon, be a part of the loot table for the Geo Cave. Since you have to farm the geo core schematic there anyway.

    Limited Use Schematics

The only ones I know off hand that is permanent for Chef is the Mandalorian Wine and Corellian Fried Ice Cream.
