Hardmode Sub Loot (Withdrawn)
-
I have withdrawn this suggestion as I get the feeling this is a hard No!
I feel good about my purchases from other players after running Hardmodes yesterday. But I feel for those that joined but looted 0 value items, with no reward given to everyone at the end makes contributors feel sad.
Suggestion create a sub category of loot.
First idea that comes to mind is break up the overload bits, create a sub loot that when combined creates a 1 power overload bit. These sub loot overload bits would drop from the smaller mobs.
Second idea break the slicing components into sub components divided out to the smaller mobs.
Third idea for sub loot possible items ancient flawless pearls, flawless pearls, and possible hard to grind components.

This is the nature of old style MMO's, it takes my attempts to finally loot something good. I completely understand that running end game content that can take an hour or more and walking away with nothing really to sure for it in terms of items. I am sure some would say its about playing with other people and building that sense of teamwork to complete hard tasks is its reward!

I mean, sure.
But this is also what tokens at the bare minimum are for. I don't think they even drop tokens at the moment? I thought I saw that in discord.

I am totally for the reward of completing the challenge. In fact its what I loved about Avatar its such a challenge, I no longer need the items, I like the challenge, and helping players.
There was some comments that were made on discord.
No Tokens for completion, or stat bonus like other content.
Lacking unique rewards due to a lack of new objects being created for the game in Blender. (Whatever happened to Vossk?).With the above comments made on discord, this suggestion is outside that scope.
At present only certain mobs drop the super rare loot.
With this suggestion it still gives room for adjustment.
Avoids the issue of creating new objects in the game via Blender.By creating a sub loot you gain access to 2 scales to adjust from a development standpoint.

Drop rate of the sub loot.
-
Quantity of the sub loot.
-
Have the sub loot drop frequently or less frequently from the smaller mobs based on instance, example Tusken Army has alot of small mobs the rate could be lower. While ISD or Revanite has fewer mobs the rate could be higher. (Drop Rate).

In the original post how many of the sub loot reaches an overload bit with power of 1 was not listed. It could be 4 it could be 10... (Quantity).
Now as for my Third suggestion for mob sub loot (it is not my preferred suggestion) was thinking its hardmode it would be items that would finish off players grind out of OG era and make the entry into Hardmode. Pearls (not Perfect Crystals), Jewelry with +30 Stat 3 stat loot giving a high chance of reaching +35 on first RE conversion, Weapon Augments 251-300, Weapen Enhancers 31-35, Health Hides/Scales its already in the Avatar Hardmode could be here also.

Don't think most players want the hard modes polluted but sub loot, that is my opinion. I really dont need anymore RE jewlery or ene/augs. We get tons of those from other content we already have. After some time I think the only thing worth considering is if the drop would need to be increased or not.

Tbh this game has too much trash loot. There are a ton of shit we spent numerous hours developing for this update. The entire overload bit system to get +40 with their own new advanced retool. A new slicing system with its own slicing bits and its own tool. New food drop in these instances. 6th gen lightsabers. New junk loot for jedi and grenadier exotics. New 3 piece jewelry sets. All these things drop from these instances and no they aren't handed out like candy and no it's not meant to get everything in a week and people get bored again. Even without blender items this was a ton of work.
