New instances and existing content
-
I know you guys are busy with the hard modes and jewel sets (thank you very much) but ive heard that next up would be more instances. It got me to thinking of what would be more easily achievable than new instances from scratch.......
I was running Necrosis for a bellbulab and it got me thinking, you have this whole cavern network leading up to him, premade, and a boss thats cool but no longer viable. You could simply take necrosis and beef him up for another 4man like clone of tank, but you could also turn it into a full instance run with sub bosses, another 16 man alongside avatar. That then got me to thinking......
Why not do an 8 man version of the same instance, then do an 8 man avatar, and a 16 man undead bunker, you could also do an 8 man clone of tank (with phases where he spawns 3 ewok adds)
Finally, the OG's play nicely for a 4 man group, why not do a pass on the musty instances to give them 4 man hard modes.
It may be alot of work, but is still less than making things up from scratch. -

Ideas like scaling Necrosis, revisiting cavern networks, or creating tiered versions of existing encounters are exactly the kind of creative thinking we enjoy seeing from the community. Reusing strong existing environments in new ways is often more realistic than building entirely new spaces from scratch, so the spirit of your suggestion absolutely makes sense.
To give some transparency on where we’re headed, here’s our current roadmap. We are a little behind schedule, but the team is working very hard, and we also have a few undisclosed surprises in the pipeline.
Chapter 6 – Hard Mode Instances
Timeline: July – November 2025Planned Features:
• Hard Mode Versions
→ Enhanced difficulty for all classic 5-man instances
• Gear Progression
→ New armor and advanced weapon attachment systems
• Consumables Update
→ Introduction of new food items
• Jewelry Expansion
→ New 3-piece sets including earrings and a statted rebreather
• New Legendary Instance
→ Legendary Attack on AuriliaChapter 7 – Return of The Mandalorians
Coming January 2026→ Major updates and surprises are in development. Stay tuned.
Ongoing Development Projects
(Release timelines will be updated as they near completion)• Custom GCW Bases
→ Player-built bases with walls, turrets, troop patrols, and full customization
• Rank 6 Cities
→ Expanded city progression system
• Droid Commander
→ New content focused on droid control and strategyAs we continue moving through these chapters, we’re absolutely evaluating ways to make older content more relevant and scalable where it makes sense. Your suggestions about alternate difficulty tiers and breathing new life into existing spaces fit well within that broader philosophy.
Thanks again for the ideas and for continuing to think about how we can evolve the game world.
