Newsnet terminals

Would it be possible for the news net terminals to display the websites weekly event schedule like a script that would just open the weekly schedule website by clicking on the news net terms in a starport so people in-game can have more ways to become active on the server and see what events are happening.

I'm not sure how the would work being it's a different link everytime I post unless the Community Updates channel can be linked to it.

It probably could, would have to bring up the in game browser, and open it up to a discord link to that channel, or the Community Updates page of the forums.

That’s a great idea, thanks for suggesting it! We’ve been looking for more ways to connect in-game with community events, and tying the NewsNet terminals into the weekly schedule would be a perfect fit. We might even be able to incorporate the Google Calendar directly into the system using the game’s built-in web browser, so players could see the live schedule without needing to leave the game. I’m not sure what all the programming challenges or limitations might be with something like this, but I’ll definitely pass it along to our development team to see what’s possible!
