Probably going to see some hub bub on this but Oh Well. The only ones benefiting from the current system are people in guilds or with a 2nd account. The people that either are not in a guild or play off times will never be able to get the tokens for a full set of jewelry or whatnot just from buffing random people. This only makes sense as you can get "build a buff" credit from your own account as it is right now so why not tokens. If this was a high population server and people were coming and going all the time I wouldn't suggest it but as it is its just hurting the little guys as it is now.

I do agree with this even trying to buff during prime time everyones going for their "own" ent or one with the 5 piece already for the extra buff. I say just put a 15min limit on it like the crafter tokens!

It does have a 15 minute timer currently, however that’s not for your own account nor is it a 100% chance. To combat the lower population I could be for the buffing own toons, or even making the chance for a token 100% that way the small pop that does come through can actually net you something.

i say make it so you have a chance but a much lower one when buffing your own account that way someone cant just crank it out in a day on there own account i would be fine with that

As it is it range, but just an example from yesterday. I buffed for 8 hours steady and I got 4 tokens and a few build a buffs, more of the build a buffs then tokens actually. sometimes i can get a few close to each other then sometimes I can go hours and not get a token. So if you are wanting to lower the chance that would just be another slap in the face. "Here you go, we are letting you get tokens from your own account but we are lowering the chance of it from what it would regularly be which is abysmal" lol

But because it’s on a 15 minute timer per person buffed if you were to have say 6 chances from your own account every 15 minutes you could in theory get lucky and get 24 in a single hour of buffing if you got every single one. I’ve had times where I’ve gotten a token 4-5 times in a row before.

ok i might be wrong about this but I dont think its per character which is has a timer. I think the timer is just that, every 15 minutes from the time you last got a token period, I have tried buffing 2 people and whenever the 15 minute timer was going even if I was buffing another person I didnt get anything. But what if you do get lucky and get 24, what is that going to do? You cant sell them, you cant sell the jewelry, so how is that going to hurt the game? As it is now finding an entertainer in a cantina is like finding a needle in a haystack so its not giong to hurt buffers either since 90% of ents are private or guild buffers anyway. The last server I was on, I ran my ent everyday for a month during my play time and I didnt get 1 single token and no i dont play during your peak times and ya it was shitty luck but thats just an example from someone that isnt on the main pops time schedule.

It’s per character, I’ve gone down the line buffing some friends willing to help out to get my whole 5 piece set done and it took less than a few hours. And last I checked the jewelry was trade-able but I could be wrong on that part.

I’m not saying you’re wrong in that it should definitely be changed. I’m just saying if it does go to your own account something I’d be alright with is definitely a lower chance per toon, or go the latter I’ve suggested and make buffing other people a 100% chance for a token in the 15 minutes. You are right in that it doesn’t really hurt anyone by making the changes I’m just suggesting ways that could make it easier but still have that RNG to it.
