For those having issues installing and copying the new launcher I'm writing a guide to further expand on the instructions from discord... Step1: install 7zip here https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z2404-x64.exe run the installer Step2: Download the new launcher here: https://www.swgevolve.com/installers/SWGEvolve.7z Step3: Navigate to where your launcher downloaded and double click it should open if not Right click it and you should see "7zip" hover over it and select "open archive" [image: 301-159a2bfae9e2-1712973555867.png] Step4: once you have the archive open hit the Extract button [image: 302-e62935fefe98-1712973580376.png] Step5: Extract the files to where your SWGEvolve Installation folder is. Hey there folks! Y'all probably don't see me around too much, but I'm here and lurkin around! I'm tackling something today that I want to be crystal clear on in regards to streaming moving forward in the main SWG Evolve Discord. As you can see now, there is a voice channel specifically for Streaming Purposes only. This is specifically for folks who want to stream playing on the server and to show off what we have to offer to the overall SWG community and beyond. That being said; if you would like to not be involved in anyway of streaming your voice, you don't want to be in that channel. If any streamer moving forward is found to be live streaming outside of this channel within the SWG Evolve Discord, that person will receive one warning to knock it off or they'll be booted out of the channel. Any additional attempts outside of the warning will result in disciplinary action on a case by case basis. If we get more than one streamer at a time, we can certainly add more channels but currently don't have many at all. I hope this clarifies things!

As most of you may already know our team has been working diligently night and day to get the Combat Revamp ready to deploy to the live server. You may notice that there are now a couple of new channels available to you. #tc-announcements, #tc-chat, and #wiki. That said, we're excited to announce that we will be opening the Evolve TC up to the public to try out the Combat Revamp for themselves, and provide feedback. We want to show full transparency about the changes we're making as you all know Evolve is the next evolution of our beloved game SWG. Now onto some important things. The Combat Revamp is a massive change to the combat system. How stats, defenses, and damage output is calculated to requiring changes to your current builds on the live server. These changes were made because while yes we want this to be a Classless system. We don't want it to be so overpowered (ie: infinite healing on tap, every Defensive CD known to man and lucky break in one build) that there is a constant 1 build meta to fight in every aspect of the game. Our hope in this change is to bring some variety to builds you encounter, from "holy trinity style groups" to "1v1 gods" Everything has should have a counter in this new system. Its our job if we choose to accept it, to test all types of builds and loadouts to find these points of balancing. Just know that the community is here to help, we are listening to your feedback, as well as have very knowledgeable people on staff and the QA team who will be available to answer questions and give guidance on combat as it changes. Now for one last note, we are officially looking to build a team to help us fill in our new wiki.
