GALACTIC NEWS NETWORK ANNOUNCEMENT! Dathomir, home to many dangerous creatures, now has animals not native to the planet. We suspect some of the more notorious Smugglers have something to do with it, but the information is sketchy at best. Locals have reported a “gathering” of creatures that is far beyond what the local game commission can deal with. Our test center while up nearly 24/7 is for the purpose of testing. Test Center is regularly resynced with the Live Server for the convenience of the player base to test upcoming content with their current characters. This server is not intended for regular play sessions and we will not entertain tickets requesting for characters or items to be returned. These things are not backed up, not saved and regularly overwritten with the Live Server DB. This should be common sense, but don't play on TC and expect it to not be synced back to the Live server at some point.

Star Wars Galaxies has undergone many transformations over the years, but few changed the game more than the historic Battle of Restuss. This event was among the first of its kind in MMORPG history, as player actions turned a PvE area into a PvP warzone over three escalating phases. That historic event will be re-lived on SWG: Evolve over the coming days, complete with rewards and a chance to rewrite history. Whether you’re a returning Star Wars Galaxies player or new to SWG: Evolve, join us to experience one of the most significant moments in the game's history. Phase 1 – Base Building Start time: Tuesday, July 8 Players will contribute to their faction’s progression through Restuss-based missions involving: Ground Combat, Space Combat, Space Mining, Crafting, Players are required to flag as combatant to participate in these missions. Phase 2 – The Destruction of Restuss Start Time: [To be announced] This short phase turns the city of Restuss and the surrounding area into a PvP enabled warzone, where any combatant player entering the area is automatically flagged Special Forces. This phase ends in a massive explosion that leaves the city in ruins. Note: Base building quests remain active during this phase. Phase 3 – The Battle for Restuss Start Time: [To be announced] As smoke clears from the destruction of the city, the final PvP battle begins. Phase 1 quests remain available for those avoiding PvP, but this final phase introduces: New Quests, The Arrival of the Emperor’s Hand: Aralina Silk, This is a multi-day SWG: Evolve event. GALACTIC NEWS NETWORK UPDATE: We have recently discovered those responsible for the Dark Energy portal creation. It appears that many of the forces on Mustafar have joined with groups from Yavin 4, Dathomir, and Dantooine to generate enough Dark Energy to spawn the portals. The Abandoned Jedi Temple, Dantooine, has many of these portals nearby. We suspect something terrible is about to happen! Gather as many combat forces as you can and head to the Mining Outpost!!!! ( In 2 hours )
