We wanted to take a brief moment and inform you of some upcoming content/events we have coming up with our pending patch (5.8): -Galactic Moon Festival Z'ozpheratu is gearing up for this years Galactic Moon Festival, which will include new items. You can start the festivities in Mos Eisley, Tatooine or Moenia, Naboo. You might notice some of your favorite instances are more appropriately themed for the event as well In addition to the seasonal event, we will also be running a Costume Contest on October 25th (More details to be provided later). Be sure to see your local tailors now to start work on your costumes! -Evolve's 2 Year Anniversary That's right, its been 2 whole years! We want to thank you all for making Evolve your server of choice. The anniversary festivities will commence once Patch 5.8 goes live, and you should have some thank you gifts upon login. Keep an eye out for events, bonuses, etc. during the celebration! -New Content/Items/Updates ** **The team has been hard at work listening to feedback, and we're excited with some of the new things we have to offer. I'll let the patch notes speak to all the specifics (cuz there is a ton), but I wanted to address one that might have people raise their eyebrows when they login after the patch: ** Color** **Palettes** ** ** A suggestion that we've heard is to expand or "evolve" the color palette of the game. Give players more options with regards to coloring not only armor, but clothing, furniture, vehicles, ships etc. So we did.... Players will now have the option to re-color just about everything they want to, with an expanded color palette, which will give you the ability to truly express yourself. ** **** One side effect for adjusting/enhancing those color palettes, is the old existing palettes have been changed, so your cool all black outfit, may be yellow or purple (or some random color) when you first login after the patch.**** **** Obviously not something we wanted to do, so**** as compensation, we will be granting players a few free recolor kits**** so they can get their characters back to normal (or even something better with the new colors now). ** ** ** Schematics for the new re-color kits are available for purchase via the trader vendor, so traders can make more down the line as folks learn about the new color options. There are many things coming with Patch 5.8, so be sure to check out the patch notes when the update goes live sometime this week. We suspect some of the more notorious Smugglers have something to do with it, but the information is sketchy at best. Locals have reported a “gathering” of creatures that is far beyond what the local game commission can deal with. Dathomir authorities are asking that every combat ready soldier report in to investigate the disturbance. (Tuesday 14th 9pm EDT)
