Menu font size

I have old eyes and find the menus hard to read. I can't see what it says some of the time. Is it possible to have a full screen button that puts the text in a much bigger box that can then be read? The font needs to be at least triple the size. With the box being at least half the screen. Still being able to see the world at the edges might be nice but not essential if the health bar is still visible. Its a very wordy game but the tiny text boxes and font makes it harder. I am assuming that's not hard coded. If we could hit a full screen option on the inventory with scaled items and font there that would also help. I don't need to see the character all the time in that window.

Yeah the 20 year old UI definitely isn't friendly for modern monitors. Folks running with ultrawide monitors and stuff like that are even worse. Sadly there isn't a ton of tools to mod the UI, and its pretty much a glorified text editor. I too would like to see something where we could *evolve* the UI a bit, but would definitely need more hands on deck to get that accomplished in a timely manner. There are some mods out there already that increase font size and such, (google vanilla nosquint mod), but that would be unsupported by us if issues arose with it.

Thanks that's to be expected. I'll look nosquint up. One option for funding mod work and support is crowd funding and if advertised across all 5 version of SWG a tool adaptation may reach quorum. I'm someone who studied crowd funding. If advertised to googles nosquint team we get a bigger base.
I suspect you have all heard of SW battlefront Classic Edition and its huge remaster. That will lead to a remaster of SWG if successful and its topping preorders on steam but its 50 gig! That has the same menu issue. SW Battlefront and SWG share some meshes and textures.
