Purpose of this build guide is to guide new players to the mechanics of Entertainer and providing Inspiration Buffs to other players. Taking the Entertainer from level 1 to 90.
Here is a basic guide to creating and setting up a new character.
Head over to the Cantina to begin gaining experience to level up the Entertainer.
Hit "U" to open the Expertise Window and Entertainer and obtain the 1st Box available Novice Entertainer.
This will grant you additional Entertainer abilities.
Open your Command Browser by hitting semi colon ";".
Drag from the Entertainer tab Basic (Dance), Flourish 1, Inspire.
(Note you could learn to play music but this will require you to obtain an instrument first by either crafting one or purchasing one from another player)
Every few seconds you can perform a flourish by selecting the Ability from the Abilities Bar.
Each time you perform a flourish you will gain increased Entertainer Experience. Keep performing flourishes to level up Entertainer.
Spend this Experience in your Expertise window by hitting "U".
Once you have reached Dancing IV: Formal you will be able to add expertise into Performer.
Now its time to gain Entertainer Experience faster.
Open your Command Browser once again by hitting semi colon ";".
Drag Formal (Dance) to the Abilities Bar and replace Basic (Dance).
Stop dancing by moving around and start performing the Formal (Dance)
Now each time your perform a flourish you will notice that you gain significantly more Entertainer Experience.
Open up your Expertise window once more.
This time level up the dancing side of the Performer Entertainer Skillset.
Keep performing flourishes, and gaining Entertainer Experience.
Open up the Expertise window one last time.
This time we are going to obtain Master Muse.
What do all these do?
1. Inspiration Pulse Stat, increases the frequency of duration increase, more Inspiration Pulse the faster you can inspire a player.
2. Inspiration Duration Stat, as implied increase the max duration of the Inspiration buff.
3. Inspiration Resistance Increase, increases the power of the Energy/Kinetic/Element defense buff.
4. Inspiration Attribute Increase, increases the Stat power IE Agility/Luck/Strength... buff.
5. Artisan Inspiration Increase, increases Assembly and Amazing Success buff. (Amazing Success is very beneficial for crafters).
6. Inspiration Base Point (VERY IMPORTANT), this increases the number of points you can use in the inspiration buff, up to 20 points.
7. Holism Buff Package, grants the Inspiration buff that can include heal potency up to 15%.
8. Harvest Fair Buff Package, this is seldom used but will help players using harvesters to have reduced cost of maintenance.
9. Second Chance Buff Package, Second Chance is a reactive heal that applies when the player is hit in combat, heal potency makes it stronger, it can only apply once every 3 seconds (most players that ask for this buff will only need 1x which is 6%, there is a few instances for players that focus on tanking that will want 12%+).
10. Go With the Flow Buff Package, increases player movement speed.
11. Affability and Improv, these are only of benefit in camps or the wild to improve the effectiveness of inspiration buff.
12. Holographic Images provides nothing but visual entertainment.
13. Flush with Success Buff Package, almost useless it provides increased experience gain, it could be beneficial for crafters during there initial leveling.
14. Inspired Reactive Proc Chance, (VERY IMPORTANT), this increases the power of reactive effects such as Second Chance.
15. Inspiration Combat Increase, (VERY IMPORTANT), increases the power of buffs such and Block, Evasion, Action Cost Reduction, Critical Chance...
This now allows us to provide all the benefits of Inspiration Buffs.
Lets continue gaining Entertainer Experience and obtain both Master Entertainer and Master Image Designer.
HOW TO PROVIDE INSPIRE BUFF.
The characters seeking to be Inspired MUST BE WATCHING/LISTENING TO YOU.
Option 1. Select the player you wish to inspire. Note the highlighted character in the upper left hand corner. Then select the Inspire ability.
Option 2a. Select the player you wish to inspire. Note the highlighted character in the upper left hand corner. Then type in the chat /inspire.
Option 2b. Without a player targeted and your mouse cursor not hovering over a character you can type in the chat /inspire (Character Name), seen hear as /inspire Vomea.
(Note the player watching/listening has increased duration the longer they are watching/listening.
(NOTE there are restrictions to where and how powerful your inspiration will be based on the location you are in, Cantina, and Player Home does not have this restriction)
There is a variety of buffs you can provide, each costs a set number of points listed as "cost x". You have a total of 20 points you can provide.
Common Inspiration Buff packages I provide:
1. Second Chance 1x (cost 2), Block Chance 1x (cost 5), Evasion Chance 1x (cost 2), Luck 10x (cost 10), Agility 1x (cost 1).
2. Second Chance 1x (cost 2), Action Cost Reduction 1x (cost 5), Block Chance 1x (cost 5), Glancing Blow 1x (cost 5), Evasion Chance 1x (cost 2), Agility 1x (cost 1).
3. Second Chance 1x (cost 2), Healer 5x (cost 10), Luck 8x (cost 8).
4. Energy 5x (cost 5), Kinetic 5x (cost 5), Second Chance 1x (cost 2), Action Cost Reduction 1x (cost 5), Luck 5x (cost 5).
Most players will ask for no more then 1x of Second Chance because there is a 3 second cooldown between chance to heal, it can be beneficial to place this up to 2x if your not planning to get hit often but still want the chance to heal.
Once the selection is filled out, and if you want to charge you can add a cover charge (note most players will tip or give free buffs on SWG Evolve), select Accept. The other player selects Accept then they receive the buff.
(VERY IMPORTANT)
You will be able to obtain Entertainer Tokens by inspiring other players (note you cannot obtain them from inspiring your own characters). You will want to obtain at least 50 Entertainer Tokens to purchase the Performer Jewelry Set. The Performer Jewelry set will increase the of gaining inspiration, duration, and another buff Lasting Performance which most notably provides more Action Cost Reduction, PLAYERS WILL WANT THIS.
To obtain the Performer Jewelry Set collect 50 Entertainer Tokens by inspiring other player characters (note you can get a token no more then every 15 minutes from EACH player character being inspired). Trade these tokens with Lady Gysyndra near the Starport or at the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley located at /way 3371 12 -4612 Lady Gysyndra.
HOW TO PROVIDE IMAGE DESIGN.
MUST INVITE THE PLAYER TO GROUP this can be done by radial menu by hitting tilde "~", invite to group.
Much like inspiration you can either
Option 1. Select the player you wish to Image Design. Note the highlighted character in the upper left hand corner. Then select the Image Design ability located presently in 2nd row slot 6.
Option 2a. Select the player you wish to Image Design. Note the highlighted character in the upper left hand corner. Type in the chat /imagedesign or /im.
Option 2b. Without a player targeted and your mouse cursor not hovering over a character you can type in the chat /imagedesign or /im (Players Name).
The Image Designer window appears and you can adjust the characters appearance similar to creating a new character but with more options.

Eventually I suggest adjusting your entertainer expertise until you achieve something similar to what is provided in the following Character Build guide.
