Good Tuesday Morning Evolve!
This is Cailener, your Community Manager here with some rather big news today on a lot of changes behind the scenes that will be taking place as of this posting or within the coming days.
1) As of a recent meeting concerning certain folks within the Community during this past Saturday evening, those who have the QA role now, and in the future, will now be considered officially as Staff.
As such, they will have additional responsibilities with testing elements of all future content and concerns we have as we move forward on Evolve.
This was done to solidify our commitment to not only ourselves, but to the entire community that we are about to start on the next chapter of our journey and really put in our hard work with a well-coordinated and efficient team.
Please give them the same respect that you have given current Staff. These folks have shown us that they have a solid and deep understanding of the game’s systems or are willing to learn with us as our main focus becomes more evident to bring out content much more expeditiously in the future.
Congratulations to our new QA Staff: Avaer, Cris-Om, Maul, MedicoreBH & Nord!
2) As of this posting, the role of Player Council will be completely removed.
Player Council was originally a role designed to funnel ideas from knowledgeable individuals and leaders of the respective guilds to come up with ideas to implement within the game and take feedback from the wider community, then have it discussed within this group of people.
We thank those who initially signed up for this role months ago but Staff views that the Suggestions section of the forums has been a lot more productive with bringing ideas to the forefront as we prepare for our next big steps.
Those who wish to renew their commitment to us and wish to help us grow or are just looking to provide a helping hand, our forums are always available to accept new applications for QA or you can do your own personal testing and pass it along to our Staff.
3) It is with great pride and encouragement that we welcome our newest Community Manager, Cris-Om, being made official as of this posting’s publication!
After the retirement of my previous partner, Tank, due to private circumstances in which all of Staff thanks him for his time with us, Staff was hard at work trying to locate an individual who we felt could rise to the challenge, and we found the qualities of what we were looking for within Cris-Om.
Through numerous situations, he has shown his dedication not only to his fellow guildies, but also to the wider community by working with Staff in public and privately to coordinate and handle things in a very professional and calm manner when things can be unpredictable.
Congratulations again sir!! You deserve this recognition!
And finally, I want to thank everyone who has stuck with us these past few months on Evolve. For those who can read between the lines and have seen certain things, a lot of circumstances arose that we tried to keep a tight lid on as to keep the server going strong. We thank all of you for your patience and understanding when it comes to managing a server and trying to keep things fun and drama-free.
I’d be lying if I said it was easy handling it, it certainly has not been as a lot of our Staff does work extremely hard behind the scenes. But through those hard situations, we learn and grow stronger as a team. So I personally want to thank all of them publicly as well for sticking with us through some of the more tougher times we’ve been through. A big shout out to our Lead CSR Chavex and CSRs Jax, Reyna, Ykeer & Zero for handling the huge tasks y’all do.
This especially goes to the man himself who is keeping us going, our Project Administrator Rezec, as he is the brain behind all of this craziness and is responsible for a lot of good work in these recent patches along with all of the development team/interns we have, Reedux, Fyrakin, Kyshen and Draskon for their work.
There’s one last thing I can say is this though, however. If you thought that what’s come out so far these past few months was great, you have no idea what’s coming up next and from what I’ve seen… We’re just getting started.
