An "Evolutionary" Announcement!

Good afternoon Evolvanites,

We have some exciting announcements to make today for you all. As most of you may already know our team has been working diligently night and day to get the *Combat Revamp* ready to deploy to the live server. You may notice that there are now a couple of new channels available to you. #tc-announcements, #tc-chat, and #wiki. That said, we're excited to announce that we will be opening the Evolve TC up to the public to try out the *Combat Revamp* for themselves, and provide feedback. We want to show full transparency about the changes we're making as you all know Evolve is the next *evolution* of our beloved game SWG.

Now onto some important things. The *Combat Revamp* is a massive change to the combat system. How stats, defenses, and damage output is calculated to requiring changes to your current builds on the live server. These changes were made because while yes we want this to be a *Classless* system. We don't want it to be so overpowered (ie: infinite healing on tap, every Defensive CD known to man and lucky break in one build) that there is a constant 1 build meta to fight in every aspect of the game. Our hope in this change is to bring some variety to builds you encounter, from "holy trinity style groups" to "1v1 gods" Everything has should have a counter in this new system. Its our job if we choose to accept it, to test all types of builds and loadouts to find these points of balancing. Just know that the community is here to help, we are listening to your feedback, as well as have very knowledgeable people on staff and the QA team who will be available to answer questions and give guidance on combat as it changes.
