How long did you play the live version of Star wars galaxies and what server did you play on?
I started playing shortly before NGE released and I probably played until 2009-10. I played on Shadowfire and then Bloodfin towards the end.
What type of work do you do?
I'm a full-time student at the moment. Did almost 14 years in Law Enforcement and I'm currently transitioning into tech. Goal is to get into Software Development
What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you?
Constructing character builds. I really enjoy the freedom that Evolve gives us when creating our builds and I spend a lot of time in Frosh Bunker just grabbing EXP and making builds work with the multiple different 5-piece sets that are available to us.
What was the race and profession of your very first character?
Ishna was a Nautolon at creation on Evolve, but he's currently a Jenet. Tank was a Wookiee and will always be a Wookiee.
What is the one thing you’ve always wanted to be/do in Star Wars Galaxies on live that you've done (or have yet to do here)?
Well on Live, especially during NGE, I felt the cookie cutter classes were boring. Here I've been able to mix and match classes with each other to my heart's content! I even made a combat crafter with like 2000+ luck. (It wasn't that great, may revisit in future though)
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing Star Wars Galaxies?
I love the outdoors, my wife and I do a lot of exploring on the weekends, and we've set up our Tacoma pickup with a rooftop tent so that if we end up somewhere we like, we can stay for a few nights. Other than that, I'm into tech, love building computers and messing around with all things tech. My short term goal is to make my own console using woodworking and a laptop motherboard.
What race and profession is your main character?
I'm going to claim Tank as my main character since I play him the most right now. He's a Wookiee, leading the wookiee rebellion against the Jenets (vermin scum). As for profession, I'll just say he's a lot of things, mostly medic.
What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character?
I'm damn near unkillable in a lot of situations. I've even started a list of things that can kill tank and a list of things that can't. Rezec is on both sides of that list. He had to use a command to get to a certain side though, I'll let you guess which one.
What faction is your main character?
Imperial
What is your favorite player owned ship?
I don't space, so the yacht?
What is your favorite ground vehicle?
STAP, it looks silly when a huge wookiee is on a STAP.
How did you choose your main character's name?
I wanted him to be unkillable, and be able to tank a lot... Tank came naturally.
What is your favorite planet and/or city and why?
Kashyyyk! BECAUSE WOOKIEE!
What is your favorite NPC?
Don't really have one. I guess Chewbacca can get this one though.
What are the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
On Live I'd say it was the purchase of a Kimogila that probably set me back the most. I can't remember for how much though. On Evolve, I haven't really made big purchases.
What do you like best about SWG: Evolve?
The classless freedom, and I'm having a lot of fun with the community.
Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies.
On Live, my best experiences were always taking part in Guild Wars. I thought that was the most fun PvP tbh. Open world PvP comes in a close second. As for best experiences in Evolve so far, being able to blow up Restuss with the large scale PvP was a blast. Other than that it's just the memories from jokin around with friends in Discord most of the time. That's how you truly keep a dead game alive.
What is your favorite questline and/or place within Star Wars Galaxies and why?
Again, Kashyyyk quests win for me. I love the feeling it gives that you're out there exploring a wild planet full of dangers.
