Introduce a Buff Maintenance Device that automatically re-applies consumable buffs (food, drink, armor/weapon/clothing pupps, etc.) as they expire. Players load the device with stacks of consumables, assign them to specific buff slots in a simple UI, and activate it. The device then pulls from the assigned slots to refresh buffs automatically until deactivated or supplies run out.
Benefits:

•	Quality of Life: Removes the need to constantly track and manually reapply buffs.
•	Market Impact: Increases demand for consumables, boosting Trader sales.
•	Accessibility: Keeps players especially new ones buffed without extra micromanagement.

Implementation Notes:

•	Could be crafted by Traders or purchased from a vendor.
•	Limited storage capacity for balance.
•	Honors normal buff cooldowns and restrictions.

Summary:

This device streamlines gameplay, reduces buff downtime, and supports the in-game economy without changing balance or progression.

I do agree with Bleep and Maul on these points but I do see the value of the overall suggestion and could be applied to other areas. This server is designed really for folks who have an understanding of SWG already, it’s quite surprising that we’ve had brand new people to get the game itself come here so learning here is quite a challenge if you don’t know the game in a deep way. If folks have questions, we’ve been good to address them as a community in my opinion.

I love to see new folks showing interest aswell, Unfortunatley, when you learn the game THIS way, you miss the essential point of the sandbox approach. Like learning GTA with all the cheat codes activated. The portion of the “community” who are no longer here is why we’re still doing this and discussing implementations to repair issues their input caused, with respect, Unfortunatley, that is why content requires events, and constant reminders, instead of the content getting pursued and enjoyed.

I'm going to go the other way on this, I feel this is an easy mode button we just don't need to say it's to help new players track and maintain buffs. Well, sadly new players don't use many buffs, that's only as you get farther into end game content. And I must say if you want to see that kinda stuff then there are a ton of resources and people that can set you straight on what buffs to get and use, I don't feel we need the easy mode auto buff droid. When we don't even have the auto beast feeder in game. Yet In my opinion you want to see the big boy stuff put just a bit of time into your character and class and put your big boy pants on. Not get some easy mode auto buff droid,

Just my two cents

The farther away from babymode we go, the better the results. The concept here is good, but I too am against continuing to add easy buttons. SWG is based on grinding, building, earning, and interacting with the universe, We need to get back to that.
