<![CDATA[Block AoE vs Evasion AoE]]>I see after the 4-12-24 update that we now have Block applying to AoE.

In short does it have same degree of defense as Evasion AoE?

Since now we no longer get Evasion through TKM or in any of the Melee trees, only Commando and Grenadier appears to get AoE Evasion.

Any thoughts?

With the Combat Evolve update things have changed further. Most players can achieve no more then around 80% Block Chance. Best Block Value I have seen was little over 1900, most PVE does way less damage then 1900 per hit. This amount of Block Value does little against hits that are around 7-20k damage. Best option is to protect against AoE is to have a mix of Block, Evasion, and get Evasion Value up as it is a % not a #.

Does block actually work against AoE?

Evasion used to be the only preventative stat for AoE from what I have read.
